Mobular is a reflection of a creative journey. My name is Mariza Joana, I’m the artist and designer behind every piece you see here. Mobular is not just a brand—it’s the manifestation of my love for art, architecture, minimalism, fashion, craftsmanship and the universe in general. It’s where my imagination meets the cosmos, where each design tells a story of exploration and transformation. From a young age, I’ve always been captivated by the beauty of the world around me—whether it was the raw power of brutalist architecture or the sleek, otherworldly designs of science fiction or nature. I’ve always been drawn to the balance of form and function, how simplicity can evoke powerful emotions. My work is an ongoing exploration of that balance, where I merge minimalism with the cosmic vastness of space. I believe design can be both grounded and ethereal, rooted in the present but inspired by the unknown.
At the heart of Mobular is the belief that objects can be more than just functional or decorative—they can be dynamic, versatile, and transformative. Through thoughtful design, I aim to expand the vision of what an object can be, creating pieces that can adapt to different uses, environments, and functions. As a self-taught designer, I’ve always embraced the challenge of learning on my own terms.
Every Mobular piece is meticulously crafted by hand in my home atelier, with great care and precision. I use a mix of traditional techniques and modern tools, including 3D printing, to bring my visions to life. 3D printing allows me to push the boundaries of design and explore new forms that might not be possible with conventional methods. Each piece is crafted with the same attention to detail, ensuring that whether it's jewelry or homeware, the result is a unique work of art.
